Key Account Manager Pharma/Orthopedics Austria


Our client is an innovative, orthopaedic company, a world leader in custom hip prostheses and an important contributor to the European hip and knee prostheses market. The company deals with orthopaedic surgeons specialists from clinics and hospitals throughout Europe.
It employs directly around 130 motivated employees all over Europe in 5 subsidiaries.
The company exports 75% of its production output and aims to double its sales turnover over the next five years.


Key Account Orthopaedics / Sales Representative Austrian Market

Start date: as soon as possible or upon agreement
Working place: Home-based, Austria wide


Responsibilities

- Drive system orders and revenue focusing on Orthopaedics Product Portfolio,  including Knee and Hip
- Success selling orthopaedic products into the operation room
- Maintain and further develop the professional and innovative image of the company within the market
- Develop creative sales strategies for all accounts within Austria
- Conduct comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations to support the decision process
- Analyse market and competitive trends throughout the region to aid in developing selling strategies
- Develop clinical knowledge and expertise relevant for administering case consultations and software training as required by the product portfolio
- Create, implement and evolve plans for sales strategy, utilization and customer satisfaction
Required Experience

- At least 3 years sales experience in medical industry preferred
- Previous experience communicating with surgeons and knowledge of hospital hierarchy
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology
- Must have a willingness and desire to travel constantly and independently
- Dynamic, energetic, driven personality with a high desire for continuously
beating competition
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make
independent decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in German and in English
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
